Founder & Managing Partner

Avathar Soni-Naidoo founded CyberLex to address the growing demand for accessible, forward-thinking legal solutions in South Africa’s fast-evolving technology sector. Drawing on his background in commercial law, contract advisory, and regulatory compliance, he combines practical legal insight with a strong interest in legal innovation, data protection, and digital transformation.

Before launching CyberLex, Avathar was admitted as an attorney of the High Court and gained experience across a wide range of legal disciplines, from civil litigation to legal consulting. He has advised on high-volume legal operations, supported tech-driven startups, and provided strategic counsel to SMEs navigating compliance in an increasingly digitized business landscape.
